Former regional councilor in Sardinia from 1999 to 2013 for the Sardinian Reformers, in the 2013 political elections he was elected deputy of the XVII Legislature in the Civic Choice list with Monti for Italy and from 7 May 2013 he was the president of the XII Permanent Commission (Affari social).
