Francesco Emanuele Celentano

Francesco Emanuele Celentano is a lawyer with a PhD in international and European Union law, specializing in transnational environmental law. He has conducted research in several European countries, exploring key issues in international relations, such as environmental and biodiversity protection, human rights protection, and the role of international organizations. He has completed training and work placements at the US Consulate in Naples and the International Maritime Organization in London.

For five years, he was a researcher in international law at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro.” He has gained experience in university teaching in various fields of international and European Union law, both in Italy and abroad, including within supranational programs such as Erasmus Mundus.

Author of several scientific papers, particularly on environmental protection and its various components, he published, in 2024, the book “The Human Right to a Healthy Environment. The Role of Regional Guarantee Systems,” published by ESI – Edizioni scientifiche italiane. He has edited and collaborated with specialized journals, as well as with popular publications in the sector such as Affarinternazionali.it and L’Europeista.

Coordinator of a Jean Monnet Module funded by the European Commission for the three-year period 2023-2026, he has long been involved in project planning, specializing in EU funding programs aimed at public administrations, businesses, and the third sector.
