After conceiving the ‘Classico’ high school diploma, she enrols in the ‘Economia e Commercio’ program at La Sapienza University in Rome, graduating cum laude in 1982. In the same years she joines a study abroad program in Zurich, Switzerland, while becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Italy.

At the age of 24 she moves back to Italy, in order to join the Direzione Nazionale of the Partito Repubblicano Italiano as a staff member. She is primarily in charge of the daily Newspaper ‘La Voce Repubblicana’ and acts as a Board Member of ANSA.

The publishing sector quickly becomes her professional passion; this leads her to activate a multitude of professional collaborations with newspapers, press agencies, radios, broadcasting networks and journalists. Moreover she becomes a certified Statutory Auditor and board member of several organizations.

While trying to find the right work-life balance, she continues to provide highly qualified CPA essential services.

In 2017, together with some of her Rome based CPA co-workers, she launches and presides (for 2 years) the not for profit organization Donne in Progress (Women in Progress), with the aim of empowering CPA women and disclosing the key elements of such professionalism.

Since 1998, Alessandra collaborates with and provides professional support to not for profit organizations and foundations, with the goal of improving their financial management and of optimizing their processes towards better and more measurable outcomes.
