Active in the city of Milan since 2011, he served as President of the Democratic Party’s Council Group in the Milan City Council, President of the Labor, Economic Development, University, and Research Commission, Group Leader in the Metropolitan Council, and Metropolitan Councilor Delegate for the Environment and Youth Policies.

He was a member of the Guarantee Commission and the National Executive of the Democratic Party.

Co-founder of the Altiero Spinelli Political Culture Circle and member of the National Council for the Green Economy.

Outside of his institutional work, he has collaborated with various law firms and companies, focusing on business innovation and regulatory bodies.

In recent years, he has handled all the major issues for the Municipality of Milan, from urban planning to transportation, from budgetary and public sector policies to social, cultural, and environmental policies, with a particular focus on innovation in public administration and international relations.
