Renata Gravina, a PhD in European History, has established a professional and academic profile characterized by intense research, teaching, and project coordination at the European level. A researcher at the Luigi Einaudi ETS Foundation in Rome, she has coordinated projects in partnership with the European Liberal Forum in Brussels and, since 2025, has been the contact person for the SEE (South Eastern Europe) – Western Balkans Observatory. In the academic field, she is a fellow and professor of Eastern European History: she currently teaches at DISP and has taught at the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de l’Ouest (UCO) in Nantes. She has also consolidated collaborations with institutions such as the Sorbonne (EURUS) and with transnational research networks.<\/p>\n
In parallel with her teaching and project work, Gravina is involved in numerous scientific and networking roles that reflect the multidisciplinary nature of her research: she is an associate scholar of CESARC (Center for Studies on Contemporary Russia, University of Rome Tor Vergata) and a member of SISSCO (Italian Society of Contemporary History), SISI (Italian Society of International History), AISSECO (Italian Association of Central and Eastern European Studies), and CIRCgE (Interdisciplinary Center for Research on Gender Cultures, University of International Studies of Rome). She is involved in editorial and curatorial work\u2014she is the editor of the Amici della Societ\u00e0 Aperta series (Ukrainian translations of classics of liberal thought, promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute in Kiev)\u2014and is a member of the scientific committees of the Iconografie d\u2019Europa series (Aracne) and the journal Diacritica, as well as the editorial boards of Il Presente Storico and the Speculum Sapientiae series (Nuova Cultura). She also serves as a scientific evaluator: she is a referee, for the historical section, of the Journal of Public Finance and Public Choice and of the journal Studi Politici (Department of Political Science, Sapienza University), and holds the title of Honorary Fellow (for the historical section) at the Gaius Institute (International Institute of Private Law Studies).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
